Wednesday is Water Day here at the Shedquarters so stay tuned for a new detox water recipe every week. This week, we’re looking at a Blueberry Orange detox water.
Here’s how to make it:
- 1 cup Blueberries
- 1 large orange sliced
- 1 pitcher of water
- *** Best herb to add would be mint
Mix it all together let infuse over night
- Oranges are an excellent source of vitamin C and contain folate and B vitamins. This fruit is great for the immune system.
- Blueberries are another one of nature’s superfoods. They are rich in vitamins and phytochemicals known as flavonoids which may help to reduce heart conditions in young women. They are also a good source of manganese which is essential for bone growth and can aid the replenishment of this mineral after menopause.
