    Pineapple Cucumber Detox Water

    Before I head off to bed every night, I make my detox water for tomorrow.

    This time, it’s going to be Pineapple and Cucumber. Basically, I just check around the refrain, pick something I like, and put it in a pitcher of water. You can add any herbs also, for me it’s this simple, it makes me drink more water to have flavor in it.

    Giving Antique Candle Stick Holders New Life

    A friend of mine gave me these candle stick holders. They were simple little pieces that no-one had given any thought to in a long time.

    They were all really dark, ugly gold, so I took some Cece Caldwall Parchment Chalk, paint painted them and distressed them a bit, I then added some soft warm Gold Metallic Gilding Wax by Annie Sloan, and I did a clear wax finish on them. Now, they are ready to return to her home with some pretty candles in them.

    These are sure to light up any room!

    Strawberry, Lemon and Basil Detox Water

    Looking to get healthier and drink more water, but not into plain water all the time?

    Here’s a quick way to make yourself a delicious Strawberry, Lemon and Basil Detox Water:

    • 1 Pitcher of water
    • 1 cup strawberries
    • 1 sliced lemon
    • ¼ cup basil leaves

    Mix all together, let stand 1 hour to overnight…enjoy

    ***Use a little stevia if you need to sweeten up.

    Water, Water, Water – What’s in Your Water?

    I love my water!!! Most of us don’t drink enough water, sometimes for me I need more than water, more flavor, but don’t want the soda, or any of those packets or drops that you put in water. So I make my own infused water concoctions I make one about every three days. I make mine by the pitcher, it’s less expensive since I use fruit, herbs and vegetables. We all know that sometimes these infused waters can be a bit bitter, I use stevia drops to help sweeten up the water a bit, it works like a charm. I will be sharing some of my favorite recipes, please share with me your favorite infused water.

    Say Goodbye to Sugar & Hello to Stevia!

    SUGAR SUGAR SUGAR……..HELP Please throw away all the sugar substitutes and coffee creamers in your cabinets and start using Stevia. White is not right! There are many articles out there that you can research why white sugar is bad for you. Do your research and make small steps in cutting back or out altogether. You won’t regret it.

    I made the switch last year when I was detoxing, it took some time to get used to the Stevia leaf but once I did I was hooked, it’s so much better for you and it comes in lot’s of flavors. Now I make all my ice coffee’s with my own flavors and it’s delicious.

    I carry them in my purse so I can order ice tea unsweet at restaurants and make it sweet on my own, with out the white sugar or the packets of sugars on the left or the sugar filled coffee creamers. I even get my Dunkin with no sugar and make whatever flavor I want with my stevia. I use them in my coffee, ice tea, ice coffee, smoothies, protein shakes. You can get all the flavors on Amazon.
