Looking to get healthier and drink more water, but not into plain water all the time?
Here’s a quick way to make yourself a delicious Strawberry, Lemon and Basil Detox Water:
- 1 Pitcher of water
- 1 cup strawberries
- 1 sliced lemon
- ¼ cup basil leaves
Mix all together, let stand 1 hour to overnight…enjoy
***Use a little stevia if you need to sweeten up.
I love my water!!! Most of us don’t drink enough water, sometimes for me I need more than water, more flavor, but don’t want the soda, or any of those packets or drops that you put in water. So I make my own infused water concoctions I make one about every three days. I make mine by the pitcher, it’s less expensive since I use fruit, herbs and vegetables. We all know that sometimes these infused waters can be a bit bitter, I use stevia drops to help sweeten up the water a bit, it works like a charm. SUGAR SUGAR SUGAR……..HELP Please throw away all the sugar substitutes and coffee creamers in your cabinets and start using Stevia. White is not right! There are many articles out there that you can research why white sugar is bad for you. Do your research and make small steps in cutting back or out altogether. You won’t regret it.
I made the switch last year when I was detoxing, it took some time to get used to the Stevia leaf but once I did I was hooked, it’s so much better for you and it comes in lot’s of flavors. Now I make all my ice coffee’s with my own flavors and it’s delicious.
